Why should I have my Computer Cleaned regularly |
|
Computers in normal use will suck dust in,
and unfortunately this dust will accumulate in and around your:
- 1. The cooling fins of your CPU
- 2. Other heat sinks in system
- 3. Your Power Supply
- 4. Under you motherboard against the back panel
Also the nature of your computer, will generate heat,
this heat is then dispersed by heat sinks on processers and other devices in your computer.
With dust around these items building up, and the high humidity in the air (especially here in QLD),
causing this dust to clump together, the components will heat up and over time fail prematurely.
This heat build up can also affect other components, as all electronic components are susceptible to heat
damage, making for a more costly repair.
Cleaning your system of dust at least once every 6 months, can help to ensure that you get a full and productive life from your computer.
