Indigo Cat - Websites for YOUR business

Why choose Indigo Cat to look after your business website?

Indigo Cat's team have been looking after small business websites for over 15 years, this means not only do we have the experience to understand what is needed in a website but also that we have survived in this highly competitive industry through constantly updating our knowledge and understanding of the services and software available so that you - don't have to (after all you are busy running your business - Right?)

We are happy to help you with all aspects of your website from the initial decision;

"what should my  Domain (www address) name be?"
Through to
"what sort of navigation is most functional for my site?"
and
"How do I get myself onto Google?"

Often when people are asked "how much is a website?" the response is automatically - "how long is a piece of string?"

The reason for this very un-helpful response is that the definition of a website is extremely flexible. Some people consider a website to be a one page essay on a product or service, whilst another person may think that a website automatically includes online shopping or online forms and a content management system.

When you are considering what your structure will need to be, try to look at it from the point of view of the customer.
Ask yourself -or even better a real customer that you have a good relationship with "what does a lay person want to know about my business?"

Often this includes very basic information such as opening times, products and services and who you are.

When constructing a website there are often standard "sets" of pages purely because many (not all) businesses need to convey the same basic information.

1.       Who am I and why am I the best choice (About Us - Individual or company)

2.       What do I do (Products &/or  Services)

3.       Where do I do it (Location)

4.       How do you reach me for more information? (Contact us)

5.       Simple email form so people can reach you (Feedback form)

Outside of this key information there is information specific to your business.

i.e. specifications, terms and conditions, contracts, images and diagrams, links to suppliers or distributors, specialised technical information,  blogs from team members and or other businesses you might run.

Once you have all this information - then we can all work together put it online for you.If you go to a website designer BEFORE you have thought about all this information then not only will you be lead down the garden path as far as what you need, but you may also pay a lot more than you really need to - and none of us really want to spend money on wasted time!
